So., I had an issue months ago with two servers at LTH and swore I would never set foot in there again, Not because of the food or Chef Daniel or owner Gabe. Because of two people who probably do not work there anymore….look I know I’m a piece of work…all be it a cute, well dressed, funny piece of work , but ne none the same. So, I swallowed my pride went in and ate crow…not crow but really good food.
Place was busting at the seams as always …this was like 2:30 on Friday not even dinner service.
Tuna ceviche ~ Avocado | Spiced Pepitas | Pico | Chipotle Crema | Roasted Corn | Lime | Plantain Chips
Local off the boat Tuna..so good
Brussel Sprout Caesar ~ This was not on the menu it was fried brussels, burrata, and tomatoes.
Calimari ~Bean Sprouts | Thai Basil | Cilantro | Green Sriracha Aioli | Sticky White Soy Ponzu
They do not mention the fried Sashito Peppers in the dish, which I could eat by the plate full alone.
So look, LTH is still killing it, Daniel is probably in the top chef echelon of Chef talent in San Diego and all the servers and staff today were fantastic. They are about 3 months away from pulling the trigger on a second concept and will kill that too..
