While in San Diego, I made it a point to stop by The Cheese Store of San Diego in Little Italy.
The shop itself is really nice. Simple and clean, with a little bit of hipness.
I loved this mural, read it while eating my cheese. I especially like the right side where it shows how much milk it takes from each animal to make one pound of cheese.

The customer service was really great as well. I liked the store, the staff, and the overall vibe better than Venissimo, which would be their counterpart in San Diego.
If you’re in Little Italy anytime soon and love cheese pop by. If it is gonna be a while and you’re craving a great meat and cheese board you can hit up The Miller’s Table in Oceanside.
